There are many ways to produce great music, but the one I love is the music scoring job. I love the flexibility and time that comes with this type of job. Music scoring jobs are fun because as long as I can get something out of the music, there is no wrong answer. The only time these jobs feel like a chore is when I feel like I am missing something.
When you’re in the studio, the producer has the studio crew around to do the jobs. This is also where you get to keep track of how many songs you have. I love to do that.

When I was a music composer, I had many jobs. The most common was to come in and work on Broadway shows. I was on Broadway shows for ten years. I was also a film composer, and I was also part of the music scoring team for the most popular TV show ever, Friends. I also spent a few years in the music scoring department of the world’s biggest TV show.
The first mistake you have to make is to start over. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has made that mistake. The second mistake I’ve seen someone make is to try to go back to the same thing. You’ll never know what you’ll actually end up with if you do that.
Well, I wouldn’t exactly call that the “first mistake”. Just going back the same thing. Youll just end up sounding exactly like you did before. The second mistake is making the mistake of comparing yourself to others. You will not be a better musician or composer or sound designer or producer or director or choreographer or editor or animator. You will not be a better person. You will just sound exactly the same.
I love the idea behind this idea. Ive worked with a lot of young people at my studio, and they dont seem to see anything wrong with this.
Yes. It just seems like it would be a really bad idea to compare the value of one product to another. It is not to say that you shouldnt compare yourself to your peers, but it is to say that you shouldnt compare yourself to other people.
If you take a look at any of the top films of all time, you will see directors. Theyre all directors. The difference is that theyre good directors, whereas the people from the studio make bad directors. Theyre just trying to get their film to be a hit, but they just end up making horrible films with terrible direction. It is possible to improve the quality of a film without changing the people who are making it.
Sure, some of them are bad, but at least theyre working for a living. And if you do make a career out of working on terrible films, you are probably better off than the next guy with crappy films.
