Remote writing jobs are one of those things that have been around since the beginning of the medium. Ive always loved the idea of making a living from my writing. The problem is, most of the writing I do is for the internet, because thats how I make a living. And writing for the internet is very different from writing for my local newspaper. Writing for the internet is like writing for a newspaper that you write for while you work the graveyard shift in your office.

The reality is that you shouldn’t have to spend your time writing for the internet. I have a great job at the Internet Business School. I can write for the internet, but I also can write for the phone. So if you can write for the internet, then you should be fine.

The internet is what you make it. I’m not saying you should be stuck writing stuff for the internet, but you should have the option to write for the internet. You should be able to write about whatever you want, whenever you want, for whatever you want. You should not have to write for the internet because you have to pay for it.

Yes, writing for the Internet is still very much a viable option. But if you can write for the phone, then you should be able to write for the phone. It’s just a question of what you want to do with the phone.
